5. Moderation and Enforcement

5.1 Content Moderation

We employ both automated systems and human moderators to enforce community standards:

  • Real-time content filtering prevents prohibited content from being submitted
  • AI moderation systems flag potentially violating content for review
  • Users can report violations through the reporting system
  • Our moderation team reviews reports and takes appropriate action

  • You may submit an appeal through our support system
  • Include specific details about why you believe the action was incorrect
  • Our team will review your appeal, but decisions are final
  • Please note: There is no service level agreement (SLA) for appeal response times

6. AI Scoring and Feedback

DebatePro utilizes AI agents to judge debates and provide feedback. Important considerations:

6.1 AI Limitations

  • AI judges aim to be fair and insightful but may occasionally make errors
  • Scoring is based on debate performance (clarity, logic, evidence, persuasiveness) not factual correctness
  • AI feedback is subjective and should be viewed as one perspective, not absolute truth
  • The AI may at times be unreliable or produce unexpected results

6.2 Scoring Appeals

  • Users may appeal AI scoring decisions they believe are erroneous
  • Appeals should include specific concerns about the scoring rationale
  • There is no SLA for appeal reviews or responses
  • Appeal decisions are final and at our sole discretion
